2: Decorative Patterns!

Second graders are moving on to pattern making. As a class, we will discuss patterns, repetition, and rhythm. We will identify examples of patterns and look at some in the room and on clothes. We will practice different line patterns in class before breaking up a piece of paper into different sections and using these different patterns to fill in our spaces to make a fun piece of art!
