Paint with bubbles!

Materials:

Small plastic containers to hold the paint mixture

Tempera paint in a variety of colors (Or food coloring)

Liquid dish soap

Water

Straws

A push pin

Small pieces of thick paper (construction, card stock, watercolor paper)

Instructions:

Use the push pin to make a hole in the straws so you/your child can't accidentally drink the paint/bubble solution. The hole will allow them to blow bubbles but harder to accidentally suck up the paint.

Mix paint, a squirt of dish soap, and a couple inches of water into a container.

The solution should be pretty thin so the kids can blow bubbles into the liquid.

Lightly press paper over the bubbles and watch the print you make!

See what happens when you add a variety of colors!
